Trust to host Community Nurse recruitment event

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust will host a Community Nurse Recruitment Open Day at the end of this month.

The event is for Registered Nurses and will take place at Islip Village Hall between 10am and 12.30pm on Saturday, September 28.

It will give attendees the chance to explore band 5 opportunities in District Nursing.

A trust spokesperson said: “During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our team of dedicated nurses and learn more about the rewarding career path of a community nurse. Whether you’re a newly qualified nurse or an experienced professional looking for a change, this event is the perfect platform to discover what district nursing has to offer.

“District nurses make a difference everyday to the lives of the people they visit at home and in residential care homes. They provide increasingly complex care for patients and support for family members. Our nurses play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our community members, and we are looking for passionate individuals who share our commitment.

“Don’t miss this chance to take the next step in your nursing career. Join us at the Community Nurse Recruitment Open Day and start your journey towards making a positive impact in the lives of others.”

There are band 5 vacancies in the following locations:

*Bicester

*Banbury

Interviews will be available on the day. Interested candidates should be aware they must be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle for these roles.
