A special exhibition at Stockport War Memorial Gallery Art gallery is telling the story of the experience of those in the NHS working through the COVID-19 pandemic – through portraits from local artists.

A recently qualified Stockport school nurse has been shortlisted for a national award recognising her outstanding commitment to learning, and supporting LGBTQ+ pupils and students.

Two district nurses who came to the aid of a distressed man who had fallen from his wheelchair in the street have been recognised for their quick actions and care.
