QNIS looking to recruit new Chief Executive and Nurse Director

The Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland (QNIS) is looking to recruit a new Chief Executive and Nurse Director.

The organisation is inviting experienced community nurses in Scotland to apply for the role after the current post-holder steps down after 10 years.

As Chief Executive and Nurse Director, the new post holder will have the chance to lead the strategic direction of the charity.

Working with a group of committed trustees, the successful applicant will be responsible for the development of a small charitable organisation with a large reputation.

The new post-holder will be accountable to the Board of Trustees (QNIS Council). They have regular meetings with the Chair and an annual appraisal.

The post is full time (37.5 hours), based in an office in central Edinburgh, with scope for flexible working from home.

The application deadline is Monday, August 12, at 12pm.
