Simulated Coroners Court highlights importance of paperwork

Healthcare professionals will be given a unique insight into the importance of documentation at an event featuring a simulated coroners court.

The event has been organised by Coloplast Wound and Skin Care which is committed to providing healthcare professionals with the tools and training they need to provide the best care for patients.

Next week, the organisation will host the latest in its series of educational events – Meet the Coroner in Court – which will include a simulated Coroners Court experience with Tissue Viability Nurse Simon Barrett and Nurse Consultant Brenda King.

Coloplast Wound Care Territory Manager Sue Pallan said: “The exciting and informative event offers an interesting insight into the importance of documentation, brought to life with a simulated Coroner’s Court experience.

“Brenda King, Nurse Consultant will offer an interesting and professionally relevant insight relating to the importance of appropriate and safe documentation.

“We’re also thrilled to welcome Tissue Viability Nurse Simon Barrett.”

The event will take place at Franklins Gardens in Northampton from 5.30pm to 9pm on Thursday, January 19, and will open with a hot buffet.

It will feature sessions on Transforming Care, Transforming Lives; Your Role in the Coroners Court and the Coroners Court Experience.

There will also be a question and answer session and stands belonging to a variety of organisations, including Community Nursing Now.
