Cancer vaccines ‘superhero’ to deliver free educational webinar for healthcare professionals

An internationally recognised cancer vaccine expert will deliver a free educational webinar about how vaccines can transform cancer care.

Dr Lennard Lee is a leading UK medical oncologist who specialises in getting national flagship health projects successfully delivered and was awarded the Department of Science Innovation and Trade Superhero award for his work in cancer vaccines in 2024. 

He will discuss the transformative potential of cancer vaccines in modern oncology during a webinar called ‘Transforming Cancer Care: The Role and Future of Cancer Vaccines’ which is free to attend for healthcare professionals.

Dr Lee said: “With cancer care evolving rapidly, it is critical for healthcare professionals to understand when and how to integrate these vaccines into treatment plans.

“This session will cover the latest developments from the UK, including our national cancer vaccine advances, and what the future holds for cancer care.

“I will also share insights gained from UK cancer vaccine research, highlighting key lessons and implications for clinical practice.”

The webinar will help attendees to understand the current and future role of cancer vaccines in transforming cancer care.

They will also gain knowledge on the latest developments from the NHS Cancer Vaccine Launchpad and their implications for healthcare professionals and learn about the achievements and future expectations for cancer vaccines in the UK, including insights from recent forums and clinical experiences.

The free webinar with Dr Lee will take place from 12.30pm to 1.30pm BST on Tuesday, October 8.
