Are you passionate about providing high quality patient care? The North Coastal Cluster Community Nursing teams would like you to support them in delivering high quality care and support to people approaching the end of their lives.

You should possess commitment to team working and innovation in the delivery of excellent standards of care. This Nursing Associate in the role needs to demonstrate excellent organisational skills. People approaching the end of their lives who have been referred to the team may need to be seen urgently and the person in this role will need to help to coordinate the Health Care Assistants and other resources to deliver this urgently needed care. The successful candidate will be delivering high quality care and will also have a key role in supervising Health Care Assistants and delegating appropriate work to them. The Nursing Associate will also assist the team in coaching and teaching the Health Care Assistants and other members of the team.

Job duties

This is an exciting and fulfilling role and you will need to be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for nursing people in the community especially those approaching the end of their lives as well as a desire for on-going professional development.

You should also have an understanding of the changing climate of care delivery in the community with the ability to travel independently across the area to fulfil the requirements being essential.
