The District Nursing service at East Sussex Healthcare Trust have a number of exciting opportunities.

Job Overview: Assessing new patients for nursing interventions in their own homes, creating and evaluating care plans. Undertaking skilled nursing interventions for a devolved caseload with support of the District Nurse and Clinical Leads. Assisting patients and carers in achieving optimal independence using best practice and following national and Trust policies and guidelines. It can be quite a challenging role at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are important.

You will have the opportunity to work in one of our 5 Primary Care Network (PCN) Teams covering Eastbourne, Seaford and Hailsham so it is essential that that you have access to a car, and hold a full licence. We provide a seven day service to patients from 08.00-20.00 hours. Rotational posts can also be supported
