One week to go to new UK nursing conference

There is only one week to go to the inaugural Community Nursing Now National Conference.

The virtual conference is free to attend for UK community and district nurses and has been organised by Community Nursing Now – a new network dedicated to community and district nursing for healthcare professionals.

The event aims to support community nursing by sharing best practice, innovations and case studies and will feature leading speakers, insightful presentations and a panel discussion on the latest hot topics in diabetes, wound care and palliative care.

Event manager Emily Mayhew said: “Community Nursing Now is dedicated to supporting community and district nurses by sharing best practice and the latest news and innovations.

“The centrepiece of our new online community is our inaugural, CPD-accredited national conference this October and we’re thrilled to be playing host to a series of high-profile speakers who will be sharing their expertise and real-world learning with our audience.

“Delegates are guaranteed to benefit hugely from the insightful presentations and panel discussions that we have planned.”

The conference will also feature a symposium for healthcare professionals only, which has been developed, organised and funded by event sponsors Novo Nordisk.

The conference will take place between 1pm and 5.05pm on Friday, October 7.
