New provider for NHS community services in Hounslow

NHS North West London Integrated Care Board (ICB) has announced that West London NHS Trust (WLT) will be the new provider of community health services in Hounslow from July 2024.

The announcement follows the agreement by NHS North West London ICB and Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH) to end their current contractual arrangement.

There will be no changes to patient services, which will ‘lift and shift’ from HRCH to the Trust. WLT have been selected as the new provider by the ICB, under the new national provider selection regime.  

Rob Hurd, Chief Executive, told the NHS North West London Integrated Care Board: “The decision to transfer these services supports our ongoing commitment to ensuring health and care equality across all boroughs within North West London. 

“We look forward to continuing our work with West London NHS Trust and we want to thank HRCH for their contribution to community healthcare in Hounslow over many years.”

Dr Christopher Hilton, Chief Operating Officer at West London NHS Trust: said: “We are delighted to be delivering additional community services in Hounslow.

“This builds upon the working partnership we have already established with HRCH as part of the North West London Community Collaborative and cements out position as a leading providing of community healthcare services in West London.
