Nursing open day to be held in Gloucestershire

A nursing open day will be held in Gloucestershire to recruit Community Nurses.

The event will be held by Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust in April to attract nurses for roles based in Cheltenham.

A spokesman for the trust said: “We have a variety of nursing roles available and we'd love you to join us, meet the team, have a look around and see if we could be a great fit for you and your nursing career.

“We are looking for Band 5 Community Nurses to join our team. If you like what you see, you could have an interview and receive a job offer on the day.”

The trust said to excel in these roles, candidates will need excellent communication skills, the courage to make clinical decisions and a willingness to develop their potential.

They will also require current NMC registration. Post-registration experience is helpful but not essential.

The event will take place from 10am to 2pm on Tuesday, April 11, at the Independent Living Centre in Village Road, Cheltenham.
