Save the date for major nursing conference

The date for a free online conference created to support the UK’s hard-working district and community nurses has been revealed.

This year, nearly 500 healthcare professionals signed up for the first ever Community Nursing Now national conference to take advantage of a range of insightful presentations and panel discussions led by leading figures from the world of nursing.

As a result of its success, the organisers are pressing ahead with plans for next year’s conference and have now announced it will be held online on Friday, 6 October, 2023.

Event manager Emily Mayhew said: “At Community Nursing Now we are dedicated to supporting community and district nurses and our national conference is one of the key ways we can share with them examples of best practice as well as the latest news and innovations.

“The feedback we received from this year’s event was overwhelmingly positive and delegates told us they found the conference very informative.

“We are already hard at work on the programme for the 2023 conference which promises to be even better.

“Next year’s event will once again be free to attend for all the UK’s community and district nurses and will cover the latest hot topics in diabetes, wound care and palliative care.”

The Community Nursing Now 2023 conference will be CPD-accredited.
