Additional FNF scholarship opportunities available

The Florence Nightingale Foundation has new scholarship places available after receiving additional support from three organisations.

Most of the FNF’s Leadership Scholarships 2024-25 are now closed but thanks to the extra support it is accepting applications in three areas until 9am on Friday, February 2.

Thanks to the NHS New Hospital Programme, its two new scholarship places available: one with a Sustainability-focused QI project and one with a Digital-focused QI project. Open to those working in NHS England.

Thanks to the Northern Ireland Department of Health it has a Scholarship place available for a nurse or midwife working in Northern Ireland.

Thanks to HCNC, a charity that provides grants and projects for Community Nurses in Hertfordshire, it has a place available for a community nurse working in Hertfordshire.

Interviews will be held virtually early-mid February.

FNF has a renowned reputation across the UK for its bespoke leadership scholarship programmes. Its programmes are designed to build confidence, authority and influence in its scholars, enabling them to contribute to policy and practice at a local and national level to improve patient care and health outcomes.

The Leadership Scholarships are open to nurses and midwives working at NHS Agenda for Change (or equivalent) band 7 and above. Whether you are looking for the next step, investigating the opportunity to become a future director, aspiring to engage more with the executive board, have dreams of engaging in a systems leadership role or have reached a senior position and are looking to stretch and develop yourself beyond your previous expectations, this opportunity is for you.
