37.5 Hours per week - Permanent

Amesbury Community Team are seeking a Community Staff Nurse based at Amesbury Health Centre. Community Teams within Wiltshire Health & Care provide high quality,complex care in the community setting, which includes caring for some very vulnerable people often in extremely challenging environments.

Wiltshire Health & Care recognises that we need to deliver care closer to home, with the resources available, and be able to meet local needs.

Main duties of the job

Experience in front line NHS community patient care is not essential as we are keen to attract new graduals as well as experienced nurses, but evidence of up-to-date clinical professional development is necessary. Applicants need to have excellent clinical skills, well developed communication skills and be able to work under pressure. The role is demanding but rewarding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking individuals who can work flexibly and efficiently.

We provide a huge amount of clinical skills training and potential further university courses when you have achieved all the skills necessary for a community nurse.

Amesbury Community Team is a busy Team caring for patients registered with a South Wiltshire GP, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other members of the Multidisciplinary Team such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Assistant Practitioners and other Specialist Practitioners. Our Shift patterns are 7-3, 8.30-4.30 and 2-10pm.
